Grief is a reaction to any form of loss:
the death of a loved one or a beloved pet,
financial loss, unexpected change in life circumstances
that result in a change in status, self-image, employment or health.
Significant loss can result in a range of feelings including anger,
denial, deep sadness, guilt and despair.
In seeing a therapist, we can learn ways to cope with the emotions
associated with loss which can include meditation, meditation and
relaxation techniques, and practical life skills to equip to us
for the new model of our life.
