Self-esteem, simply put, is our opinion of ourselves. It is the degree
to which we feel worthy, valuable, capable, successful and can be expressed
on a continuum of from low to high, and can be influenced by external circumstances
or relationships, culture or personal history. It can be rock-solid and gain its strength
from within us.
Low self-esteem can be treated, and together we can work on
adjusting unhelpful patterns or relating to ourselves.
