Collecting treasures becomes hoarding when we have trouble letting
go of possessions that are no longer wanted or needed, or if your
collection takes us so much room that it interferes with movement
through the home or with maintaining hygiene. Hoarding can impact
negatively on finances and relationships when we shop compulsively.
It can be associated with obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression
and anxiety.

Recovering from hoarding can be difficult and
requires collaboration between client and therapist. I will never
force you to unload your “stuff”, but can gently help you to unravel
why you hoard, and address the back-story of your collecting
